Ready or not, here I come!

Well, it's finally here. almost.

I leave for London on Sunday morning. It's 11 pm on Friday night. Room- complete disaster. Suitcases- no idea of their whereabouts, and certainly not packed. Clothes- pretty much all spilling out of my dirty laundry basket, and most definitely not sorted by which are staying and which are coming with me. Textbooks for London- it's a mystery, I ordered them two weeks ago and they still aren't here. Ohhp! And Monday's accommodations- not quite sure either, but it always makes life exciting.

Yes, one wouldn't consider me the most prepared considering I am leaving in about 36 hours. However; I did buy a new pair of rather pricey jeans that looked ridiculously good on me, and I am happy about that. I am in dying need of jeans, and I am just happy it worked out so well, they were even on sale. (Even if there were $80 after said sale). So, now that $80 is now out the drain and I have good jeans for London, I am ready to go! (Minus the whole not packed and life in shambles part).

Preparing for London has certainly been an interesting experience. I finished up the Spring semester at BYU-I at the very end of July and came back to Vegas to work for five weeks and hypothetically prepare for London, that is in a perfect world, of course. I have had a wonderful little summer break spending time with my family and our foreign exchange student Sophie, but the whole preparing thing didn't go as well as I would've hoped.

BUT, I am as happy as could be! I don't really have any expectations for the next four months of my life in London, but I am sure it will be wonderful. I am usually a very structured and prepared person, so this whole "come as it may" and just "saillin along" idea is rather new and stressful for me. As Micah can detest, I have been rather stressed the last few days, but though she may not believe it, I am very happy and not too worried about it all. (and my family claims me to be "ulpleasent". I don't even know what the word means)

In short, London- here I come!
